Connecticut Children’s pediatric hospital specialists and physician assistants (PAs) now provide inpatient care for children at Danbury Hospital and Norwalk Hospital. Neonatologists will begin caring for babies in every hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) this summer. This alliance will improve quality outcomes and provide greater access to subspecialty pediatric care for families in the communities WCHN serves.

WCHN now brings an unprecedented level of specialized pediatrics and neonatology care to community hospitals in alignment with Connecticut Children’s, the only hospital in Connecticut dedicated to the care of children. Through the alliance, children and their families will have 24/7 access to specialized and subspecialty pediatric services that are already available. Even more pediatric consultations will be provided at Danbury Hospital and Norwalk Hospital emergency departments (AS) and best-in-class pediatric emergency care for young patients.
