This allows you to use your health and dental insurance along with any other health insurance you have. If you do not want to have your benefits coordinated, you can disenroll from our plan. Opt-out applications must be submitted annually during the opt-out period.
After you submit your opt-out application, Green Shield Canada will send you a summary email with your transaction number. This number confirms that GSC has received your application. If there are any mistakes in your application, GSC will contact you. Otherwise, health@ will contact you when your application has been approved and your refund is ready.

Unfortunately, the ACORN system does not have the ability to eliminate health and dental fees for students studying outside of Canada. Therefore, tuition must be paid before a refund is issued. International student waiver forms will be available from October 1st to November 1st.
