You may need a referral for a wheelchair evaluation from a healthcare provider in your disability plan’s network.
If the healthcare provider does not complete this step, we can help you find a provider in the network and schedule an appointment.
It’s important to understand what your insurance covers and doesn’t cover so you don’t have any unexpected expenses.
Once the referral is sent to the identified provider, the assessment will be performed by a physiotherapist, occupational therapist or physiatrist who specializes in determining correct seating and positioning.
